Render Checking
Note: Liveclicker supports free render checking for accounts with Enhanced and Powerhouse Service Packages. If you have the Standard Support Package and would like to upgrade to receive free render checking, you can request an upgrade by contacting your Customer Success Manager.
To request a render check for an email template containing Liveclicker campaigns, please follow these instructions:
1. through your ESP, send an email proof containing your campaign(s) to the following addresses:
-
videoemail@liveclicker.com
-
liveclicker@previews.emailonacid.com
-
liveclicker.runme@previews.emailonacid.com
2. Once sent, email support@liveclicker.zendesk.com requesting a render check of your campaign and include your email's subject line and your Liveclicker Campaign ID.
3. You will receive an email confirmation once your render check results are available to view. Your results should be available within 1 business hour.
4. To view your render check results, click the View results button in your email confirmation, or go to the All Campaigns page and go to the RealTime Content tab and scroll down to the Render Checking tab.
5. Once you are on the Render Check results page, click the View Render Check link next to the campaign you would like to view below. If you see issues with how your Liveclicker Content is rendering, click the report button to send the issue to Liveclicker Support to get help.
When reviewing your render check results, please note the following:
-
The test results are screenshots generated by Email on Acid on various simulated email clients. Because of this your Liveclicker elements are not shown as animated or interactive.
-
This is not a targeting rule simulator so content served by targeting rules will likely only show one variation of your element rather than all the configured options.
-
Did one of your elements fail to load? The image scraping process used in these tests is automatic, which means there's a possibility that a screenshot is taken before all the content has fully loaded. If this happens, please escalate the issue to LiveclickerSupport for further investigation.
-
Some email clients may show fallback images for location-based elements - ie. LiveForecast & LiveMap.
